We take a holistic approach to helping the elderly in our community, addressing not only their medical need, we also ensure we provide emotional support by engaging them with social activities. We are determine to prevent cataract and maintain the elderly vision.
Our first priority as a charity is to identify and support the most vulnerable elderlies. Not just those living in poverty, but those suffering from potential blindness due to cataract.

Together, in 2020, NOGG supported 5000 families with food donation in 5 state in Nigeria.
Altogether, our work benefitted over three million people, including more than a million people – almost half of them children – in emergency situations.
It’s all thanks to incredible supporters across the country and internationally, who believe every human deserve access to food, shelter and medical care.
For every dollar spent by NOGG, 83cent went towards our work to care for and protect vulnerable elderly and children around the Nigeria and 17cent is spent on raising another dollar.
Child protection is at the heart of our operation, we are dedicated to ending violence against children so they are protected today and empowered for tomorrow. We do this by equipping children, families, faith leaders, schools and various levels of government, with the tools to address the root causes of violence against children.
We speak out on issues like child marriage, child soldiers, child labour, violence and abuse by raising awareness, influencing laws and amplifying children's voices. With your support, we work in the most dangerous places, with communities and local and national government at all levels. Empowered communities are able to build a safety net of loving and caring people to protect children and young people, prevent harm, and ensure that those who are harmed receive the help they need to recover.
Children’s lives can change in an instant in the wake of terrorism, disasters and humanitarian emergencies. We see how vulnerable they are and how much they need our protection. And the need is only growing. Today, there are more than double the number of emergencies than there were ten years ago.
Boko Haram is unleashing natural disasters faster, for longer and with longer-lasting consequences for children and their families. The needs are greater, and so the response must be too.
